COMMUNITY DATAPOINT, NOT OFFICIAL POLICY. On an expat forum (about 2024), American members say they bank with Banco Nacional without problems and have US Social Security deposited there monthly. Members also say proof of source of funds is required. We found no official BN statement on US persons.
